World cup, Mont St.Anne – 3rd place

Thursday – had little complications on the way from Ottawa do Montreal, my flight was delayed and werent able to make it on time to Mont St. Anne. Anyway, track is different than last year...longer first straight, massive rock garden and the bottom is heading to the woods with pro section, rock garden and long sprint into finish line. From the beggining i thought it will be easy, but i changed my mind :D haha. In fact, its one of the hardest tracks i have ever raced on. First trainings were on dry track, but tomorrow weather forecast says its going to rain....then we will have really hard times :D haha. Qualifiacation is on Friday! Stay tuned. TS

Friday: it was suppose to rain a lot, but in the end it didnt..just a little. Anyway the track felt much better after these few drops of rain, there was much better grip then yesterday. In training before qualification i find out some lines, had two flatties, but tell me who didnt hah? :D In qualification i did huge mistake allready on first straight, i clipped out and was able to go full speed on first straight. I got 10th with mere 1,3 second on Jared Graves. Tomorrow is the race day! First heat with Roger Rinderknecht, pretty hard from the beginning:) stay tuned
Saturday : R.S.P. team rider Tomas Slavik did great and took 3rd place at the 4 Cross Worldcup! In the quarter-final he passed 2 other riders and was strong enough to qualify for the semi-finals.In the semi-finals Slavik and Rinderknecht dominate the heat and goes to the finals. After a bad start in the final run, Tom tried to overtake the world champion Alvarez, unfortunately he slipped out and crashed. But he could reach the finish line before Roger Rinderknecht and finished in the 3rd Overall Rank.
