Tomáš Slavík took a win in Bulgaria and became 4X Pro Tour WORLD CHAMPION

Last race of 4X Pro Tour world series was taking place at Pamporovo, Bulgaria on a brand new venue. It was a big premiere for Tomas Slavik because he decided to race on a fullsuspension prototype by GHOST bikes called The HOOD. Slavik took a win at quali and massive win in a race on his new bike! At Bulgaria Slavik just underlined his overall win at 4X Pro Tour world series and became 2014 4X Pro Tour WORLD CHAMPION.

„ Race in Bulgaria was full of expectations and question marks. I was in really good shape, but it was my first time in Bulgaria on this new track and didn't know what to expect. I decided to race on fullsuspension bike. A new bike by GHOST bike called „The Hood“. Its a fourcross bike with 100/100mm of travel, really light, stiff and just ideal for 4X racing. From the testing I had faster times, felt really good on that bike and thats why I decided for this bike. Only thing I can say is that it was a good decision! Took a win at quali what was first good sign. In the race I had good gates and inside line. In the final I took a holeshot and was leading, but then I went almost out in of the turns and was fighting with Derbier from France for the win. At the end I crossed the finish line as a winner. Honestly Im thinking about to race my fullsuspension bike on all fourcross races next year!Im really stoked from this win and taking the overall win! It was just a dream season with Wolrd Champion title, 4X Pro Tour champion title and leading the UCI ranking. What else should I be asking for? Really want to thank to all my sponsors and people who support me in my career! Thanks guys!“
